We had half the day off, so we walked around Nijmegen a bit. We walked across the river on one bridge, and back on another one, and then walked around downtown. That night there was a piano concert at the gallery, and I got to meet the contemporary pianist Tomoko Mukaiyama.
1/18/14 Internship day 11
We made lunch for a group of 25 students visiting from a school in Belgium. I didn't take pictures, but it was quite a feast.
1/17/14 Internship day 10
I got to mutilate an authentic Friso Kramer Revolt Chair. I literally changed history. (Actually, one of the arms was broken, so I was removing both of the arms to make it more functional)
1/16/14 Internship day 9
We dropped off some jewelry at CODA Museum in Apeldoorn, and got the very special privilege of seeing the storage room. Everything there is so organized and secure. We also got to see the "Dare to Ware" show going on there. After CODA, we went to Stedelijk Museum 's-Hertogenbosch and Noordbrabants Museum in ’s-Hertogenbosch. After spending hours in museums, we all went to Pannenkoeken Restaurant De Duivelsberg for Dutch-style pancakes.
