I'm back!

Hello friends,

I was only planning on taking a couple weeks off for the holidays to give myself a bit of a break. But then 2021 started off rough and I had to take more time off. I kept meaning to get back to blogging and sharing my new work with you, but kept putting it off, and didn’t feel like I had anything interesting to share.

But now I definitely do. It’s not jewelry related, but I’m sharing it here anyway. A month ago I got back from a 2 week bike through through Alaska. My friend and I flew from Seattle to Anchorage with our bikes, and rode from Anchorage to Fairbanks. We did 400 miles over 10 days. We camped in a tiny tent every night and made several of our meals over a camp stove. We got 7 flat tires all together. We saw some bears and moose from afar, and dealt with millions of mosquitoes up close. Overall it was a challenge but we had a great time. If you want to see day by day progress from the trip, check out my instagram posts about it below. I’ll also post some of my favorite photos after that.

Alternative Holiday Gift Guide 2020

Hey friends,

Alright, so I’ve never done this before, but I’m going to make a gift guide for this holiday season. I was thinking, I’m not too big into buying gifts, but I do like to buy cool things for my friends and family if the vibe seems right. I’m not really into shopping, but I’m huge into creating communities, and connecting with like-minded artsy people. So here is a gift guide for y’all. It’s full of my friends, my family, and artists who I admire. Especially this year, if you’re gonna buy stuff, buy from small local businesses, and buy stuff early!
