ONLINE ORDER PROCESSING AND SHIPPING

 

Processing Orders

Orders are shipped within 7 days of the purchase/payment date. We process orders Monday-Friday during business hours. Please keep in mind that we make everything by hand in our studio, and certain pieces are made to order. If your order is time sensitive, please feel free to contact us and we will try to get it out as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee shipping dates for orders. Standard shipping does not include insurance and has limited tracking information.

We have no control over what happens when your order leaves our studio and Nina Raizel Jewelry is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen in transit. We recommend contacting USPS directly if you believe your package to be lost or stolen. We are not responsible for packages that are returned to Nina Raizel Jewelry because of incorrect addresses. Customers may be responsible for forward shipping.

US Shipping

All orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail and usually arrive within 1-3 days of the shipping date. You will receive a shipping notification with a tracking number when your package ships. If you would like insurance or a different shipping method, please contact us at nina@nina-raizel.com.

Seattle Pick-up

If you are in the Seattle area, and would like to schedule a studio pick-up please let us know before placing your order.

International Shipping

All orders are shipped via USPS First Class Mail and can take anywhere between 1-4 weeks to arrive depending on the location. You will receive a shipping notification for your order, but you will not be able to track your package after it has left our studio.

All customs fees and duties are the responsibility of the recipient (you). We have no control over these extra costs, and will not state that a package is a gift in order to help avoid customs fees. Packages will be marked Merchandise/Costume Jewelry.

If your location is not currently available for shipping, please contact us and we will make it available.

Promotions & Discount Codes

Discount coupons must be used at the time of purchase. We can not process discount codes retroactively. If you return an item that was purchased using a discount code, you will not get the discount code back.

We are unable to "stack" discounts in the same order. If you are using a percentage discount code, you will not be able to use an additional code for that order.

Sales Tax

We are required to collect sales tax on all orders shipped to or picked up in Washington State.

RETURNS, EXCHANGES, AND CANCELLATIONS

Returns

We want you to love your new piece! If for some reason you are not completely satisfied, we will accept unworn pieces in their original condition within 14 days of receipt for online orders. Any returns after this time will be accepted on a case-by-case basis and will be subject to a 50% restocking fee.

If you would like to return something, please email us at nina@nina-raizel.com to request a return. Please do not ship your item until you've received confirmation from us that we will honor your return.  We will supply you with the return address with confirmation that we will accept the return. Items returned without prior approval will be refused. It is the customer's responsibility to pay for shipping to return the items.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. An email confirmation of your refund will be sent to you. You should see the credit back to your credit card in 3-5 business days, depending on how fast your bank is.

Shipping costs are not refundable at this time, and Nina Raizel Jewelry is not responsible for return shipping costs.

When returning items, please package them in a box and provide ample padding to protect the pieces during shipment. Returning the items in the box you received them in works perfectly! Nina Raizel Jewelry will not be responsible for inadequately packaged items or items damaged during shipment in any way. We have the right to deny credit if the merchandise returned does not meet our return policy requirements. We are not responsible for tracking your return, and are unable to issue a refund for lost or damaged packages.

If you purchased your item from one of our retailers, please contact them directly for their return policies. We cannot exchange or return any items bought from one of our retailers. All custom pieces and sale items are final sale and cannot be returned.

International Returns

All International orders are final sale and not eligible for return. Please contact us if you have any questions about the return process. We are available by email at nina@nina-raizel.com and by phone at 206.450.0353 Monday-Friday 9am-6pm PST.

Exchanges

We are unable to offer exchanges for online orders at this time. The easiest way to exchange your item is by placing a new order and return your other item for a refund.

Need the exact same ring in a different size? Go to https://findmyringsize.com/ to find the perfect size. Please follow our return instructions above and place a new order for the new ring size you would like. This is only available for “simple” rings. For “fancy” or custom rings, please contact us and we will assess if we are able to resize the ring or not. 

If you used a discount code with your original order, we are unable to honor the same discount after the discount has expired. If you are returning an item you purchased using a discount and want to place a new order, the discount will not be applied to your new order. The discounts are only valid for one time use.

Cancellations

We are only able to modify or cancel orders within 24 hours of submission on a case-by-case basis. After 24 hours, cancellations will not be accepted. You may inquire about order modification or cancellation by email at nina@nina-raizel.com or by phone at 206.450.0353 Monday-Friday 9am-6pm PST.

Damages

We will ship your jewelry in a padded box with ample padding to ensure it travels safely. If for some reason, your piece arrives damaged in any way, please email nina@nina-raizel.com and we will happily send you a replacement.

Repairs

If your piece is in need of repair, please email us a photo along with an explanation to nina@nina-raizel.com. Repairs are accepted on a case-by-case basis. There may be a small fee to repair your piece. We do not cover shipping charges.

JEWELRY CARE

Metals

We use sterling silver for our simple jewelry line, and 14k gold and sterling silver for our fancy and one-of-a-kind jewelry lines. Please inquire if you would like a piece custom-made in a different metal. All of the metal we use is recycled, hypoallergenic, lead-free and nickel-free.

Care

1. Metal hates moisture. We recommend not showering or swimming with our jewelry and storing pieces in an airtight bag when not in use. 

2. 14k gold can be cleaned with a mild dish soap, hot water and a gentle cloth or soft toothbrush.

3. Sterling silver will tarnish over time. To bring it back to it's original state, clean it as described above and gently rub with a polishing cloth or use baking soda and a soft cloth.

4. Be gentle with gemstones. They can break, scratch, or chip. Wash them as described above, and remove jewelry when engaged in any rough activity.

WHOLESALE ORDERS

I will provide an invoice with all the items listed, quantities, descriptions, retail and wholesale amounts. Items must be sold at the retail price listed, which is double the wholesale price, unless otherwise discussed.

If an item breaks or is damaged, let me know. If I determine that it is a manufacturing problem, I will repair or replace it at no cost for up to 6 months after order is paid for. If an item breaks or is damaged and I determine that is it is not a manufacturing problem, I am happy to repair or replace it for a fee.

Silver and brass items may tarnish over time. Feel free to use a polishing cloth or an anti-tarnish solution on them to brighten them up. Be careful of gemstones, and let me know if you have any questions about care.

Full payment is due upon receipt of order unless otherwise discussed. I would like checks made to “Nina Raizel”, and also accept cash, cards, Venmo, and Zelle. Order is final once paid and received. No returns.

CONSIGNMENT ORDERS

We gladly accept consignment orders! For information, please send an email to nina@nina-raizel.com.

I will provide an inventory list with all the items listed, quantities, descriptions, retail and wholesale amounts for each consignment order. Items will be sold on consignment at the retail price listed, which is double the wholesale price, unless otherwise discussed. When items are sold, I will receive the wholesale amount for each item. If items are not sold within 6 months, they may be returned or switched out for other items. Item sales are final once paid to Nina Raizel I would like monthly checks made to “Nina Raizel”, and also accept cash, cards, Venmo, and Zelle. Please include a complete list of the items sold, retail and wholesale amounts with each payment.

• Before sale, I will repair or replace it at no cost

• After sale, and I determine that it is a manufacturing problem, I will repair or replace it at no cost for up to 6 months after order is paid for.

• After sale and it is not a manufacturing problem, I am happy to repair or replace it for a fee.

CUSTOM ORDERS

The total price and actual timeframe may or may not match the estimates. We will do our best to inform you if something comes up and the total price will be much more than the estimate.

We accept checks, cash, credit card, Zelle, and Venmo. Checks can be made to Nina Raizel. If requested, a deposit should be made when the design is finalized, and a final payment should be made during the presentation (or shipment) of the finished work to the customer.

If you give us stones or other materials to incorporate into the jewelry, we cannot ensure that these materials will not be damaged during the process. If damage occurs, we will reimburse you at market value.

If you are unsatisfied with the finished work, please let us know, and we can talk about further steps. If you do not accept the finished jewelry, we will keep it, along with the deposit.

Custom jewelry has a 1 year no-questions-asked repair warranty from the date of the final payment. After that, issues will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

Custom rings include one fit-check and resizing if necessary.

All custom work is non-returnable and non-refundable after it is completed and paid for.

REPAIRS

Any information you provide with your order is confidential and will not be disclosed to other organizations or third parties. We will add you to our mailing list if your email is provided. If you would like to be removed from our mailing list, please email nina@nina-raizel.com.
