Well, today was my last day at Galerie Marzee. But I'll be back. I had such an amazing time and met such amazing people. I'm excited, but I can't believe I'll be going back to the states tomorrow.
2/7/14 Internship day 26
Ate more food, photoshopped more photos, and played more shuffleboard.
2/6/14 Internship day 25
We had a small party since I'm leaving soon. We played shuffleboard, which was a lot of fun with 6 people playing (I got second place!). My roommate made traditional Chinese hot pot for dinner, and I made American pancakes for dessert. It was all very delicious, or "lekker" as the Dutch say. After we ate, my boss gave me a piece of jewelry as a parting gift! I don't have a picture of it, but it was a lovely little brooch by Noam Elyashiv, who happens to be my professor at RISD.
2/5/14 Internship day 24
I photographed some jewelry by Herman Hermsen, and stared photoshopping it to make images for the gallery inventory. After work we went out to eat at a tiny falafel place and then went to a couchsurfing.org meeting. We met people from The Netherlands, Turkey, Germany, Australia, and a few other countries.
